With the technology development, nowadays we can make our cell phone as road navigator or gps. If we want to make our cell phone as gps, we only need to install a program and activate our internet connection. However, if we have bad internet connection, usually the connection can be switched to GPRS connection. Several types of cell phone that we can use as gps are Blackberry, Palm PDA, several PDA brands, and i-Phone.

With the gps application on our cell phone, we do not need to buy gps to find roads to specific location and directions. One thing that we cannot forget if we want to use our cell phone as GPS is download map. We can download map from free site on the internet and save it in our cell phone.

We can save the map permanently on our PDA, but we have to make sure of our memory limit because if we download map too often, but the memory is not available, the system will automatically delete some maps that we might still use. To avoid this loss, we can regularly delete the unused map before we download the new one. Other method that can be used to save our map permanently is by using specific software. With gps program in our cell phone, navigation will not be so expensive.
